San Diego Newest Public Bike Park! First Look
Awesome to see yet another public bike park pop up. This time up in north county. With the success of sweet water, it is nice to see north county finally get a bike park as well. The jump lines and flow at Bradley field are next level and the whole crew that built the park did an amazing job. Had a killer session with a bunch of friends at the park to try and battle some Jet Lag from Europe. @jonsimek and @Enarson619 both featured throwing down🤘🏼.

It's awesome to see more race promotors introducing slalom into their series. Over the Hump is the latest addition to that. @@NewbGamingNetworks appreciate it! My goal is to just vocalize my thoughts in my head for exactly that reason. Not really a how to format, but definitely can be applied in similar ways to a how to video.
I’m super local to this community. I was really surprised when they announced they were building something like this in Bradley. The trail systems around here are pretty neat too. Love seeing this stuff.
Haven’t seen anyone hit these on an enduro. Do you think it’s doable? Or is it DJ/BMX only?
@@colinkennedy8733 you could probably make it through with some stiffer suspension. But it wouldn’t be ideal

Such a rad park! Hopefully veterans memorial bike park In carlsbad won’t disappoint - also the pump track in Oceanside at el-corazon park - Oceanside and Carlsbad have the opportunity to kill it on both - let’s hope they nail it like San Marcos did to Bradley park

I believe they are building another one in North Escondido by Jesmond Dean Park soon. They approved it back in 2020 and just had a design workshop open to the public back in January 2024. I have not seen anything started yet though.
Moving at the speed of government for a project that serves ordinary tax payers. 4+ years to move some dirt. Now if it were a special interest issue helping rich property developers or the like it would be done in an afternoon 😂

Looks like a blast for all levels. I am about 2 hr from that area makes me want to dust off my old bike. I have a couple hard tails in the garage. They might be a little behind the times. haven’t rode trails since I was living in Tahoe back in 99 and my gear is from the same era. Got a GT and specialized. They were top of the line for the day but now they would be considered relics. I imagine I could still get the stoke riding in my 40s that I had in my teens & 20s before life got busy raising kid.

Been waiting for the drone footage. I was there that day struggling on the blue line with my full suspension. It so cool watching Jonathan, Bubba, you and all the heavy hitters crushing the lines. It's definitely time to invest in a DJ.

We're trying to get a Pump Track built here in Orange County CA @PumpTrackIrvine and footage like this, with riders like you all Such a big help bc it brings awareness and attention to what is possible We still have people around here thinking parks like this bring "crime" and "trouble" Rather than what it really brings and can do for the community ❤

My home town! Grew up playing ball on those fields lol. Can't wait to give them a go.
It is so cool its right next to those ball fields, things like this will hopefully get biking even more recognition at a community level and get more kids on bikes!
@@luca_cometti Absolutely! It's such a change from growing up and we didn't even have skateparks. A block away was a skateshop called RBC that had some ramps and rails (ones I eventually ended up with when they shut down) fast forward to today, every city has a skatepark, and now these jumps parks are starting to get put in everywhere!
Lame to skip the last jump…you guys can clearly hit it if I can lol…

That was insane my dudes! I just did that trail for the first time and watching your guys’ terrifying speed is hard to comprehend. Good show man! Any tips on learning how to corner at higher speeds?
Look through the corner, keep your chest low, point your hips the direction you want to go and try and break before the corner. There is so much more to it then just that, but those are a few of the top things in my opinion
@@luca_cometti appreciate it! I gotta rewatch this cause I don’t recall you breaking before the turns. I just remember you railing those berms at high rates of speed. Does the braking become less important the more comfortable you are at all the rest of it?
